Recent purchases for the for the school have included: a trim trail for the adventure playground;
new kit for the football squads; a portable PA system; an outdoor classroom; picnic tables; plants for the pond area; portable CD players for each classroom; 5 cantilever umbrellas to provide shade for the children at lunchtime;an engraved pen for every child to commemorate the school's 50th anniversary.We have added to this in the last 12 months a shade sail and a large green house.
So how did we raise the money to pay for all this? Well it was hard work but we had some fun on the way....here is a taster...
Annual May Fair The biggest event in our fundraising calendar. The weather may not have been kind to us this year but 2010 saw a record profit of £5300....a fantastic achievement!
Table Top Sale A new venture for us. A successful event which we plan to repeat this autumn.
Christmas & Summer Discos Two very popular events for the children which provide us with an excellent opportunity to raise some money.
Quiz Nights Our favourite quizmaster Gary Mackenzie continues to draw the crowds to these very popular evenings.
Bingo A first for us ...and a great fun evening. Looks like it's going to become a regular fixture!
100 Club A very easy fundraiser although we do have to work hard at selling the numbers! The last couple of years has seen a 50% take up but still a good source of some extra income.
Easyfundraising The easiest way by far to raise money. Since registering 2 years ago our online shoppers have raised £465.
